As a refresher,SingleJet™ heat transfer paper is for use with inkjet
printers(we recommend the Epson1430).This paper offers an easy way in which to transfer a digitally printed design onto white and light color t-shirts, pillow cases, golf towels, baby bibs, bags and more.
In this video
demonstration, we’ve printed out an image that you will use in a right reading
position. With a regular iron, you will view the simple steps it takes to transform a plain, white t-shirt into a keepsake, a t-shirt trend and/or reunion wear. Happy ironing!
Step 1: Position
shirt onto a hard surface.
Step 2: Use an
iron on the high setting. Do not use water.
Step 3: Begin
ironing the shirt to heat up the area where you will place the design on the shirt
and to remove wrinkles.
Step 4: Position
transfer onto the shirt.
Step 5: Start
ironing at top section of the transfer and continue ironing all the outer
edges.
Step 6: Iron
the entire surface of the design for 1.5 minutes using FIRM pressure.
Step 7: Hot
peel the design by starting at corner of transfer and smoothly rolling it off
the shirt.
Final Step:
Place parchment paper over surface of the design and iron for a few more seconds.
Remove
parchment paper and Voila! Good color, washability and durability result.

RhinoDARK! It's the newest generation of laser heat transfer paper that will let you apply color and bright white to all
DARK apparel and fabrics. Use it on 50/50 blends, 100% cotton and
polyester like Dri-Fit t-shirts. It’s available in 8.5” x 11” and 11” x
17”. Use it with these recommended printers: OKI 920 WT, OKI 711 WT.
HOW TO PRINT THE DESIGN RhnoDARK is a two-step process
using a Printable Film and Paper. The first step is to print on the Film
Sheet (A sheet) that will help to ensure that it is not affected by
humidity and that no expansion and contracting of the design will take
place (great for use in hot and humid areas). On this polyester coated
sheet, there is a dull and glossy side. Print on the dull side.
Also, remember to mirror the image, so that when it is applied to the shirt it will be right reading.
In the video, we use the OKI 711 WT printer that includes C, Y, M + white cartridges. The
printer will automatically mix in black when printing on a white
garment and enable the color and white to print at the same
time to offer big opacity and greater durability. As you'll soon see, the finished product will display brilliant whites and vivid color.
As we begin, notice that we
load the paper in the front feeder so that it will process straight through to
the back tray, bypassing all roller systems and potential damage to the
coating.
HOW TO TRANSFER THE DESIGN
Take Transfer Sheet (B sheet) and dog ear (fold down) the corner.
Place it on the A sheet – the one with the printed image. It’ll be easier to peel this way, especially when it’s a hot peel. MAJOR
NOTE AT THIS POINT: THE CORRECT TIME AND TEMPERATURE SETTINGS ARE 360
DEGREES for 90 SECONDS (NOT what is mentioned in the video). 2nd
Major Note: we’re using the RT DK20A – auto release heat press. Works
great, but make sure that your chin is not above the bar when it’s
released!
HOT PEEL immediately and smoothly.
Note that the coating on the B Sheet has transferred to the
A Sheet everywhere that there is toner on the A sheet.
Now, we recommend cutting off the edges of the A Sheet (image sheet).
No need to trim RhinoDARK - it's a weedless paper. Only the toner transfers.
Next, press the shirt to remove moisture and wrinkles for about 10 seconds.
Place design on shirt. Press for 360 degrees for 30 seconds.
Remove shirt.
Let design COOL and then COLD PEEL.
You’ll note that the design shows up with a hi-gloss.
To dim the gloss, lay the shirt onto press.
Place parchment paper on top of design.
Press
for 15-30 seconds and the results will be a matte finish with brilliant
color and bright white that will pop off the shirt.
To add dimension, Textile Metallic Foil is a great choice.
After the design has been transferred to the shirt, crunch foil, place
on top of the design, repress, and your design will be eye-popping. You
can also add rhinestones.
For best results, it is recommended that solid colors only be used in
the artwork. We also recommend printing white toner over all the color
for greater opacity when printing on DARK garments.
