RhinoTech Sponsors Team Michael in "Walk for the Cure"

RhinoTech was the proud sponsor of TEAM MICHAEL as part of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation’s annual “Walk for the Cure” on Saturday, March 26, 2011, on Siesta Key Beach, Sarasota, Florida. The team successfully exceeded their fundraising goal and wore T-shirts printed with RhinoScreen Dry Stencil Film, the system that is transforming stencil-making in the screen printing industry.

The three mile walk and festivities included touching, heartfelt thanks and reflections from the youth and teens who described how Type 1, insulin-dependent diabetes affected, but didn’t define their lives. Type 1 diabetes strikes children and adults suddenly and requires multiple injections of insulin daily or a continuous infusion of insulin through a pump – just to stay alive.

RhinoTech champions JDRF for moving life altering research out of the lab and into human clinical trials; because 80 percent of all JDRF's expenditures directly support research and research-related education.
