Conscientiously-made, "Green" Emulsion Removers for Graphics and Textile Screen Printers

Click Here for Your Complete Video on the Only Eulsion Remover You'll Ever Need.

Within the realm of emulsion removers, we want to reintroduce two that are top sellers. They are biodegradable and, with the addition of a filtration system, you are doubly assured that any solids will be collected. As a result, the environmental impact to plumbing and septic systems continues to be protected.

Showcased today are: ERG² 8550L Emulsion Remover from RhinoTech that is a highly efficient ready-to-use product. This Emulsion Reclaiming Solution rapidly removes emulsion and capillary films from screens. It offers excellent freeze/thaw characteristics and is ideal for use in all climates. And it never separates out active ingredients. And, as mentioned earlier, environmental, economic, plumping system and septic field protections are assured when a filtration system is used in combination to collect solids that are 5 microns and larger. This can be accomplished by using a RhinoClean M10 Filtration System that has a woven filter media to collect the particles.

ERG² 8500L Emulsion Remover is also a highly efficient, ready-to-use product;  rapidly removing emulsion and capillary films from screens. The freeze/thaw characteristics are excellent so the product can be easily used in all climates. It never separates out active ingredients and can be used straight or mixed in a 1:15 ratio with water. The same protections are assured when a filtration system is used to collect solids that are 5 microns and larger.

Environmentally Safe Press Wash for All - including Mother Earth.

PWG² 122 On-Press Wash is a textile press wash that is environmentally conscious; safely conforming to regulations across the country, in particular, CA rules. It has been designed to work rapidly and efficiently on Plastisol Inks, quickly evaporating and leaving no solvent residue (or “slime” as some would refer to it) on the screen. PWG² 122 has a higher flash point than lacquer thinner, alcohols, ketones, etc. It is especially ideal for cleaning smeared or dried-in ink off the screen during a press run. This press wash has been termed “the perfect product to use for color changes on-press”.   Most importantly, PWG² 122 has a very pleasant smell, is biodegradable and non-flammable. It is a perfect choice for home-based printers as it can be safely disposed of once it has been wiped off the screen with a paper towel and becomes a solid waste.

High Pressure Screen Frame Cleaning System by RhinoTech

Filmed at the Imprinted Sportswear Show in Long Beach, we give you  the newest screen printing Screen Washing System to hit the industry in 2012! But first, we want to thank Jonathan from Catspit Productions (see this & other RhinoTech "how-to" videos all month @ youtube.com/catspitproductions) who deemed this a cool, highly worthy cleaning system and then helped us produce this video.

The best feature of the 2536 High Pressure (HP) screen cleaning system is that it offers a way for the operator to gain a controlled environment in which to: develop and degrease screens, reclaim screens; perform ink removal, stencil and haze removal (to banish ghost images) – all in one box. The RhinoClean 2536 holds up to 1/25″ x 36″ screen frame or 2/20″ x 24″ frames.

By bundling multiple functions this way,  graphics and textile screen printers have an improved method to handle what the general consensus is “the worst job in the shop”.

As an example, to develop a screen in this high-pressure screen washing system, the operator is able to adjust up to 1,500 PSI. With an effective traveling arm and rotation of the spinner that has a timed cycle, consistency is gained during the developing process whether you make two or 200.

Another great attribute is its compatibility with Water Filtration Systems (the M-10) and, of course, RhinoClean Green² chemicals in an effort to minimize the screen printing industry’s carbon footprint on our mother earth.
And to go a step further in our eco-sensitive mode, the addition of a Water Filtration System  that is compatible to the 2536 HP will enable a filter media to filter out solids prior to water going down the drain.

Other features of the RhinoClean 2536 HP Screen Frame Cleaning System: Polypropylene Construction, Chemical Resistance, a Traveling, Two Headed Rotating Spray Wand and Easy Clean Drain.
